This team of five physicians delivers professional OB medical services to Maternal-Fetal Medicine patients in the hospital setting, including comprehensive high-risk obstetric health care services. They provide primary coverage of high-risk patients, backup obstetrician support and first-responder coverage. These physicians work as a team with the Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists assigned to a patient.

Robert Deaton, MD
Robert Deaton, MD obtained his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and received his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Indiana University Hospital. Dr. Deaton had a private practice for 25 years and joined OB/GYN of Indiana in July of 2017. Dr. Deaton’s area of focus is high risk obstetrics. Dr. Deaton is married and has five children. His hobbies include travel, golf and classic old cars.
Jeffrey Hatcher, MD
Jeffrey Hatcher, MD received his medical degree from Wright State University and completed his residency at Wright State University Miami Valley Hospital OBGYN. He has been in practice for more than 20 years. Dr. Hatcher held several leadership positions including Chief of Staff, Chair Department, Medical Staff Liaison and Chair of Margaret Mary Physician Leadership Council. He is the Director of the High-Risk Hospitalist Program at St. Vincent Hospital. Dr. Hatcher specializes in the women’s reproductive tract, pregnancy and childbirth. In his free time Dr. Hatcher enjoys golf, sporting clays, swimming and spending time with his two children.
Mary Hinkle, MD
Mary Hinkle, MD received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her residency at St. Vincent Hospital. Dr. Hinkle is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Hinkle is married with two grown children and two grandchildren. She enjoys travel and going on medical mission trips.
Christy Campbell, DO
Christy Campbell, DO, FACOOG obtained her Doctor of Osteopathy Degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency and internship at Grandview Hospital and Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. Campbell is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Osteopathic Association and holds an Ohio State Medical License. She is also certified in Neonatal Resuscitation and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
